Our Story
We started Akira in 2019 because we saw a real gap in the region: ambitious companies with products that didn't reflect that ambition, and delivery teams that executed but didn't innovate.
We wanted to build a world-class studio based in the region — one that understands its culture, language, and users, and works at the level of studios in New York and London. Today, after 150+ projects with the best companies in the Gulf and Egypt, we continue the same mission: designing products whose stories are worth telling.
